Job Summary:

As a Content Specialist you will be responsible for copywriting and content assignments alongside a dedicated and passionate team of Content and SEO Specialists. You will partner with the SEO team to ensure the quality of work meets our client briefs and expectations, and ultimately support the SEO strategy, boost organic traffic and elevate conversion rates. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to write SEO copy for a variety of industries and work your magic to weave keywords into site landing pages, blogs and articles that supports our clients’ ambition and SEO targets.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Write engaging content that reflects the client’s tone of voice and mission
  • Produce error-free content that adheres to style guidelines
  • Edit and proofread content and provide feedback to colleagues when necessary
  • Conduct Tone of Voice workshops to establish style guidelines that specifically cater to clients
  • Interpret creative direction and adapt points from briefs into persuasive copy concepts
  • Familiarise yourself with the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
  • Complete client corrections in a timely manner and deliver all content assignments on time
  • Make a concerted effort to stay up to date with current digital marketing trends and new techniques/technologies

About You As a Content Specialist, you are passionate about embodying the brand’s voice and delivering exceptional, error-free content for our SEO team and clients. You will also have:

  • 2+ years of experience in content writing (agency experience preferred, but not essential)
  • An incredible attention to detail and organisational skills, exceptional research skills
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Experience writing for trades, construction, fashion, finance or any of the industries mentioned above
  • Experience managing several competing deadlines or projects at a time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Good communication skills – comfortable communicating with external stakeholders as well as internal teams
  • Proficient in G-Suite programs
  • Proactive nature and ability to get the job done with initiative
  • Experience in developing processes to increase productivity
  • Organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
