CAIRO, EGYPT – The Egypt Global Offshoring Summit 2025, held on November 9, has secured the country 55 new outsourcing and digital services deals. Sixteen of them are from firms entering the Egyptian market for the first time, and 39 are from existing firms expanding their operations in the country.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat were present during the signing of these deals. Talaat said these deals “reflect the growing global confidence in Egypt’s investment climate and skilled workforce.” He also expects “around 75,000 direct and indirect jobs” will be created over the next three years in the fields of IT, data analytics, AI, technical support, and contact centers.
The Importance of Egypt’s Outsourcing Sector
Egypt’s outsourcing sector has been a key driver of its digital exports, bringing in $4.8 billion in 2025 from the $2.4 billion in 2022. Now with these deals, the country will be able to “expand business operations and attract investment in the outsourcing market.”
Talaat said they’ll continue to double down on talent investment, which already benefited 500,000 trainees, as it’s the “key to achieving sustainable digital growth.” They’ll also be including these initiatives in the government training programs:
- Artificial intelligence
- Data analytics
- Cybersecurity
- Information technology
- Our Future is Digital (FWD)
- Maharat Min Google
- Your Job from Home
With these, the government will be able to ensure that the young Egyptian workforce remains globally competitive.
