MANILA, PHILIPPINES – International technology and outsourcing leaders will convene in Manila later this month for a summit, discussing an AI-driven future and sustainability in the BPO industry.
The Philippines’ IT-BPM sector has seen significant gains since the launch of the Roadmap 2028 strategy, which aims to expand capabilities, strengthen client partnerships, and deliver value in the industry. It has added 370,00 new direct jobs, bringing in USD 8.5 billion in revenue, raising the sector’s total to 1.82 million workers and USD 38 billion revenue by the end of 2024.
While this reflects success in the industry, the workforce is changing rapidly with the rise of AI and its transformative influence. New questions press the sector, and these will be addressed in this year’s summit.
