
NEW YORK, USA – Accenture, a global leader in outsourcing and technology services, has successfully acquired Logic, a Minneapolis-based retail technology firm.
This strategic acquisition, first announced on July 16, 2024, aims to enhance Accenture’s capabilities within the retail sector by integrating Logic’s specialized expertise.
Logic is renowned for its proficiency in merchandising, store operations, digital technologies, analytics, and cloud computing.
The firm’s advanced knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI is particularly valued by Accenture, which sees these capabilities as crucial for driving further innovation and delivering enhanced solutions to its clients.
Enhancing retail solutions and expanding talent pool
The acquisition brings approximately 800 skilled professionals from Logic into Accenture, all with expertise in retail-focused technical strategies.
Jill Standish, Accenture’s global lead for the Retail industry practice, highlighted the growing need for retailers to continuously reinvent themselves through digital technology.
