TOKYO, JAPAN – Global business process outsourcing (BPO) company transcosmos has announced the opening of a new operations center in Seoul, South Korea.
The center, named CX Square Hoehyeon, is equipped with 200 workstations and will primarily focus on providing contact center services. This expansion is part of transcosmos’ strategy to meet the increasing demand for its services in South Korea.
Located near the company’s existing centers, CX Square Myeong-dong and CX Square Euljiro, the new Hoehyeon Center will enable effective collaboration between the sites, particularly during peak times, ensuring stable, continuous, and sustainable service delivery.
Commitment to security and industry leadership
The opening of the Hoehyeon Center comes on the heels of a significant achievement for transcosmos: becoming the first BPO company in South Korea to obtain the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) v4.0 certification.
This global security standard, established by major international credit card brands, ensures the safe handling of cardholder data and minimizes the risk of data breaches.
Transcosmos Korea, which employs approximately 10,000 people, supports over 350 clients across various industries. The company offers comprehensive BPO services, including IT solution development, e-commerce and digital marketing, contact center management, direct mail services, and omnichannel system development and management.
Founded in 1966, transcosmos has grown into a global leader in BPO services, with a presence in 182 locations across 35 countries, predominantly in Asia. Its e-commerce services are available in 46 countries and regions worldwide.
