
MUNICH, GERMANY and BENGALURU, INDIA — Digital services and consulting giant Infosys has teamed up with European e-commerce giant zooplus to boost zooplus’s e-commerce capabilities and operational efficiency.
This collaboration includes the launch of a state-of-the-art Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, India. Using Infosys Topaz, a suite of generative AI technologies, this partnership aims to transform zooplus’s customer experience through advanced data insights and automation.
Driving digital transformation through AI
zooplus, operating in 30 countries across Europe and known for its extensive online pet product platform, seeks to enhance its marketing, e-commerce, and supply chain operations. By tapping into Infosys Topaz, zooplus will improve product management, technology development, and customer engagement. This new order management system and data-led approach will streamline processes and deliver a more personalized customer experience.
Geoffroy Lefebvre, CEO of zooplus SE, emphasized the company’s focus on data to meet customer demands and adapt in a competitive market. He expressed confidence that the Infosys partnership would unlock operational efficiencies and elevate zooplus’s digital presence.
Karmesh Vaswani, Infosys’ Executive Vice President, highlighted the role of technology in driving sustained growth and innovation. He noted that the GCC reflects Infosys’ commitment to helping clients like zooplus navigate digital transformation at scale.
Infosys supports over 300,000 employees serving clients across 56 countries. The company reported strong financial results for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024, with revenues at $4.89 billion, reflecting a 3.1% sequential growth and a year-on-year increase of 3.3% in constant currency.
