MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Global leader in customer experience, Foundever, recently launched a significant employment initiative, Learn2Employ. It’s designed to improve the career opportunities of 4P beneficiaries through comprehensive job-readiness training.
The Learn2Employ program is in partnership with Unilab Foundation and Caritas Philippines’ Alay-Kapwa Community Schooling (AKCS). Its curriculum focuses on soft skills development, workplace professionalism, communication, and customer service competencies to improve the participants’ employability in the customer experience industry.
First launched in July and August, the initiative has already trained 124 participants. All of whom were invited to apply to Foundever, with seven being successfully hired, demonstrating the program’s positive impact on participants’ employment opportunities.
Seeing seven of our trainees transition directly into employment with us is incredibly rewarding, but the real success is in empowering all 124 participants with skills they can use throughout their careers.
— Willy Lim, Foundever Vice President for HR, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition
Learn2Employ not only addresses the workforce demands but also the Philippines’ critical employment needs. It reflects the company’s participation in addressing the country’s broader social and economic challenges by partnering with government programs.
What This Means for the Philippines
The program provides a realistic way to employment for the marginalized to help alleviate poverty, assist with social mobility, and support inclusive employment. The company’s partnership with non-profits and government programs demonstrates how companies can participate in public welfare programs to drive real economic growth.
By specifically targeting out-of-school youth, Foundever also helps bridge education and employment gaps, ensuring that disadvantaged youth aren’t left behind in the digital economy.
The Learn2Employ initiative represents our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for every Filipino, regardless of their background. We believe that with the right training and support, 4Ps beneficiaries can become valuable contributors to the BPO industry while building sustainable careers for their families.
