MANILA, PHILIPPINES – TP Philippines participated in the April 2026 Bridges to Success career fair held at SMX Convention Center organized by National University and SM Offices.
There, they engaged with 3,500 NU graduating students, providing them with career advice and presenting the opportunities of working in the IT-BPM industry.
The company also conducted 1-on-1 mock interviews and skills assessments onsite to help them improve their communication skills and build their confidence for their job applications.
Preparing Graduates for the Workforce
During a panel discussion, TP Philippines let fresh graduates understand the golden rule for entering the workforce: to value their own academic credentials.
Deng Lopez, TP’s business development manager, stresses, “A fresh graduate’s academic journey should never be discounted. Earning a degree is a significant achievement that deserves real weight in job interviews and provides a strong foundation for a first-time job seeker.”
TP Philippines also reminds graduates of the importance of reframing their mindsets as they begin their career journey. Internship, for instance, can be counted as work experience that they can showcase to future employers, says Joan Gapol, TP’s recruitment director.
