NEW YORK, USA – Genpact, a professional services and solutions provider, has announced an expanded collaboration with Advantage Solutions, a business solutions provider for the consumer goods and retail sectors.
This partnership aims to enhance finance and supply chain operations, addressing current inefficiencies in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and retail industries.
Key issues being targeted include deductions leakage, poor recovery of invalid claims, manual customer service operations, and inefficient supply chain planning, logistics, and fulfillment.
Leveraging Expertise and Technology
Tarun Chopra, unit leader of Genpact’s Consumer Goods division, emphasized the synergy between the two companies.
“We plan to combine Advantage Solutions’ expertise in client management and retail connectivity with Genpact’s data, technology, and AI solutions to enable retailers and CPG companies to streamline processes and drive efficiencies.”
The partnership aims to significantly boost client profits by recovering and preventing revenue leakage, a common issue that accounts for 7-10% of lost revenue in the industry.
The planned solutions for supply chain management include a SaaS-based platform that will digitize order management and trade promotions deductions. This platform aims to enhance speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction for small to midsize businesses and brands.
Brandon Thornell, executive vice president for Branded Services at Advantage Solutions, highlighted the benefits: “Under our new expected collaboration, clients would be able to enjoy enhanced, digitized, and automated operations. They will be able to harness the power of data, analytics, and digital offerings on a global scale, providing both cost efficiencies and growth opportunities.”
A global professional services firm, Genpact operates in over 30 countries with a workforce of 125,000 and reported annual revenue of $4.48 billion in 2023.
