
PARIS, FRANCE & CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES – AI-powered customer communications platform Aircall has acquired AI voice agent firm Vogent to advance its AI Voice Agent capabilities to the best-in-class category.

Making Voice AI a Reliable Communication Channel
While AI agents for chat and email have matured, voice-based communication has fallen behind, with many businesses commenting that it “hasn’t lived up to the hype.”
This gap is what Aircall is trying to resolve with its acquisition of Vogent. The integration has enabled the company to strengthen its AI Voice Agents with specialized voice AI technology that allows them to scale “high-quality, reliable customer interactions.”
Vogent CTO Vignesh Varadarajan explains that they had built “the most advanced voice AI pipeline on the market. That means custom models throughout the stack, from the voices themselves to turn detection, interruption handling, and latency management, because those are the things that separate a demo from something you can trust on a real customer call.”
